Was I eligible to win?

If you placed an order over $10.00 USD between November 27th at 9 AM EST and December 12th at 9 AM EST, then yes... you would have been good to go. Each eligible order generated one electronic Order ID. If you spent more than $10.00 USD during our Black Friday promotional period, check your email - the Order Receipt we sent included your unique Order ID, which was also used as your Ballot ID.

Was the prize available to anyone worldwide?

Of course.

Was there a No Purchase Necessary option?

Yep. To enter without making a purchase, you had to have completed and sent us a paper ballot, available here.

How did you draw a winner?

Great question. Let's break it down.

Each eligible order generated a unique Ballot ID. Additionally, each No Purchase Necessary mail-in ballot that arrives was assigned its own unique Ballot ID. Each Ballot ID represented a distinct record in our database table. From this pool of unique Ballot IDs, one random entry was picked using a randomly generated seed based on the NumPy project. This random selection was the resulting winner.

Did the winner have to pay any additional shipping costs, duties, or taxes?

Of course not. Everything was fully paid for by dbrand.

Did the winner have to do anything once the prize was received?

The winner is free to tweet out a photo or post one on Instagram, tagging @dbrand, to verify that they've received their prize.

How did you contact the winner?

The winner was contacted at the email address used during checkout. This email contained further details on how to collect their prize.
