Troubleshooting

My product is defective, what do I do?

Sorry about that. While rare, defects can happen. Please submit a support ticket and select “Issue With Order Received” so our team can review it. Once we verify the issue, we’ll get a replacement sent out as quickly as possible.

How many skins should I have received?

The exact contents depend on the device and kit you selected - different devices include different pieces, and kits (Essential, Deluxe, Ultra, etc.) bundle different sets of skins and components.

The exact contents of your kit are shown during checkout (in the Review step) and on your device’s skins page. If what you received doesn’t match what’s listed there, submit a support ticket and select “Issue With Order Received” so we can get it corrected quickly.

I messed up my skin installation. What should I do?

Don't panic. Submit a ticket with an explanation of what happened, and be sure to include photos. We’ll help you get things sorted out.

I installed my skin a while ago, but now I’m noticing bubbles. What happened?

This usually happens when a tiny pocket of air wasn’t fully pressed out during installation. Over time (and with heat from normal use), that air can migrate and collect into a more noticeable bubble.

To fix it, warm the area with a hairdryer for a few seconds, then firmly smooth the bubble toward the nearest edge. If it won’t move or comes back, submit a support ticket under “Issue With Order Received” and we’ll help you out.

How do I remove the skin from my device?

There's no secret technique: just lift an edge and start peeling.

Removal can feel easier or more difficult, depending on the surface. On glass-backed devices (like many iPhones), skins usually release more cleanly because the surface is non-porous. On bare metal/aluminum (like a MacBook), the adhesive can stick a little more into the surface texture, so it may take more effort. If it’s stubborn, gently warming the skin with a hairdryer helps soften the adhesive and makes removal easier.

In any event, every skin we sell is guaranteed to remove without any adhesive residue left behind.

How do I clean my skin or case?

Use a damp microfiber cloth. Start with water, and if you need something stronger, use a small amount of 70% isopropyl alcohol.

My Prism Screen Protector doesn't seem to be compatible with my Grip Case. What's the deal?

We’re going to guess this is a folding phone. That’s the only scenario where the Grip has a front-frame component, which means you need the Case Friendly version of Prism for the extra clearance.

On standard “slab” phones, Prism is designed to fit perfectly with all of our cases.

If your Prism 2.0 is interfering on a foldable, it usually means you need the Case Friendly version. Either you accidentally ordered the standard Prism (instead of the Case Friendly), or we accidentally shipped the standard version (even though you ordered Case Friendly).

Either way, submit a ticket and we’ll get you the correct protector.

My screen protector cracked. What should I do?

As a famous YouTuber once said, "Glass is glass, and glass breaks." Look at it this way: if not for the screen protector, you would have cracked your display instead.

The good news is that we include two screen protectors with every order (look under the top tray in the packaging), so you can replace the cracked one right away. If you’ve already used both, submit a support ticket and we’ll help you work out a solution.

Why doesn’t my screen protector cover the edges of my display?

Some phones use glass that’s effectively flat across almost the entire display, but has a nearly invisible radius right at the perimeter. Even though it looks (and feels) flat, that tiny edge transition is enough to prevent a rigid tempered glass screen protector from maintaining perfect contact, which is why “edge-to-edge” protectors often lift over time or develop a halo of non-adhesion around the border.

To keep adhesion consistent and ensure your screen protector never lifts around the edges, our glass covers the entire flat surface and stops exactly where the display begins that subtle curve.

Do I really need a hairdryer to install a skin?

Assuming it was recommended in our installation tutorial video: yes. Vinyl can flex, but gentle heat makes it pliable enough to conform cleanly around curves and edges (without wrinkling or creasing).

If you don't have access to a hairdryer, any other source of mild heat (for example, a space heater) will do. Avoid sources of extreme heat, such as heat guns or open flames. These will literally melt the skin.
