Galaxy Z TriFold Contest Rules
By placing an order that includes at least one physical (i.e., non-digital) product, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (the "Contest Rules"), which constitute a binding agreement between you and dbrand inc. ("dbrand").
- Prize: dbrand is giving away one (1) Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold smartphone (the "Prize"), with an approximate retail value of at least $2,500.00 USD. The Prize is awarded "as is," with no substitutions, transfers, or cash equivalents, except at dbrand's sole discretion.
- Giveaway Period: The contest begins at 10:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on December 24, 2025, and ends at 12:00 AM Eastern Standard Time on January 3, 2026 (the "Giveaway Period").
- Entry by Purchase: During the Giveaway Period, each time a customer places an order containing at least one physical product, that order will automatically generate one (1) eligible electronic contest entry. Each eligible order is assigned a unique electronic Order ID, which will serve as a unique ballot identifier (a "Ballot ID"). There is no limit to the number of Ballot IDs a participant may receive through eligible purchases.
- No Purchase Necessary / Alternative Method of Entry: No purchase is necessary to enter or win. To enter without making a purchase, you may submit one (1) paper ballot (the "Paper Ballot"). Paper Ballots must be sent by registered mail and postmarked no later than Friday, January 2, 2026. Only one (1) Paper Ballot, available here, is permitted per entrant and will be assigned one (1) unique Ballot ID. Paper Ballots must be mailed to:
dbrand inc.
180 John Street
Suite 100
Toronto, ON M5T 1X5
Canada - Opt-Out: If you wish to opt out of the contest and have any automatically generated Ballot IDs withdrawn, you may do so by notifying dbrand via email at robots@dbrand.com prior to the draw.
- Winner Selection: One (1) winner will be selected by random draw on January 26, 2026 at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. Each Ballot ID, whether generated by purchase or Paper Ballot, represents a distinct database entry. The winning Ballot ID will be selected using a randomly generated seed based on the NumPy project. The selected entrant will be deemed the winner, subject to eligibility verification and compliance with these Contest Rules. The winner will be selected and contacted using the information associated with their entry on January 26, 2026.
- Eligibility: The contest is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
- Personal Information & Communications: By entering the contest, you consent to dbrand collecting, using, and disclosing your personal information for the purposes of administering the contest and awarding the Prize. You also consent to receiving electronic communications from dbrand as required in connection with the contest.
- Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, dbrand’s total liability in connection with the contest is strictly limited to $500.00 USD. dbrand makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the contest or the Prize.
- Reservation of Rights: dbrand intends to administer the contest fairly and in accordance with these Contest Rules. However, in order to address unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control, dbrand reserves the right to make limited adjustments to the administration of the contest where reasonably necessary to preserve its integrity. In the event of a genuine dispute, ambiguity, or administrative error affecting the identification or eligibility of the winner, dbrand may take reasonable steps to resolve the issue, including disqualifying affected entries and, if necessary, conducting a new draw.
- Compliance with Local Laws: The contest is open worldwide. It is the entrant’s sole responsibility to ensure that participation complies with any applicable national, provincial, state, or local laws or regulations ("Local Laws"). If participation in the contest is alleged to violate Local Laws in any jurisdiction, dbrand reserves the right to remove all Ballot IDs associated with that jurisdiction from the draw; and/or if a winner has already been selected, withdraw the Prize and conduct a new draw.
- Governing Law & Jurisdiction: The contest and these Contest Rules are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario, and entrants irrevocably submit to and attorn to that jurisdiction.
- General: Unless otherwise specified, all monetary amounts are stated in United States Dollars (USD). You may not assign these Contest Rules or the Prize without dbrand’s prior written consent. If any provision of these Contest Rules is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
