• How do I enter?

  All you have to do is follow @dbrand and @UnboxTherapy on Twitter. That's literally it.

• What are you giving away?

  We're giving away 10 iPhones: (5) iPhone 7 and (5) iPhone 7 Plus. You can learn more about the giveaway via UnboxTherapy's video.

• Is the giveaway open worldwide?

  Of course. We'll even ship to North Korea if you've somehow managed to gain internet access.

• How frequently are you selecting winners?

  Every 48 hours at 12:00 (noon) EDT/EST. If you don't know what time that is in your local timezone, don't worry... we'll be announcing the winners on Twitter as soon as they go live.

• How are winners selected?

  Randomly, from a cross-section of both @dbrand and @UnboxTherapy followers.

• How do we know it's truly random?

  We're using a custom Python script which was specifically programmed for this giveaway. It uses the Twitter Public API to download a list of all @dbrand followers, as well as a list of all @UnboxTherapy followers.

  Once the full lists have been loaded, the script generates a list of IDs which exist on both lists. This ensures that the potential winner is following both @dbrand and @UnboxTherapy.

  From this pool of unique account IDs, a random entry is picked using a randomly generated seed based on the NumPy project. This random pick is the resulting winner.

  For every subsequent winner selection, the script will run again. This triggers the Twitter Public API follower IDs fetch again. The script will download the newest followers and keep going until it reaches the followers which were downloaded during the previous run. What this does is save us from having to download a list of over 1.3-1.5 million followers (at the time of writing) every time a winner is selected \u2013 while also ensuring that everyone is included and has an equal chance of winning for each random draw.

• How will you announce winners?

  On Twitter, of course. We'll tweet out your @handle if you've won, then follow it up with a DM.

• How do I avoid being scammed?

  Don't reply to any tweets or DMs saying you've won unless they come from the official @dbrand. You'll know it's us if you see a blue Verified checkmark. Furthermore, never give out your credit card information or Twitter password to anyone... especially not to any account asking you to \u201ccover the shipping fees.\u201d We'll never ask for this. The best way to avoid getting scammed is to check this page when we tweet that a new winner has been announced. If you see your name listed under Winners, click the link to ensure it's actually your Twitter account (and not someone with the same display name). If it really is your account, congratulations! Check your Twitter DMs for further instructions.

• How are winners shipped?

  All winners are shipped via FedEx with tracking. If you win, you'll receive the tracking number once your prize is shipped.

• If I win, will I have to pay anything to receive the prize (shipping costs, duties, taxes, etc.)?

  Of course not. Everything is pre-paid.

• If I win, can I use my existing SIM card on the device?

  Yes. Every device we're shipping is globally unlocked, carrier-free.

• If I win, do I have to do anything once I receive the device?

  Tweet out a photo to @UnboxTherapy and @dbrand to verify that you've received your prize.

• If I send you dozens of emails begging for a device, will it improve my odds of winning?

  No. Please stop. We won't acknowledge or reply to any emails asking to be picked as a winner. Selection is 100% random.
