Story
When the world was first introduced to the Companion Cube in 2007, nobody could have predicted its enduring popularity. Despite its inability to speak, feel, or care whether you lived or died, this inanimate polyhedron lodged itself permanently into the hearts and minds of an entire generation.
This should have been the end of the story. It was not. Nearly two decades later, Valve announced a new six-sided piece of geometry called the Steam Machine. Everyone noticed the resemblance. We were the only ones equipped to build it.
Well, here it is. You monster. The culmination of thousands of years of science, geometry, pop culture, and injection molding: a dbrand Companion Cube enclosure for your Steam Machine.
Also included: a Test Chamber skin for your Steam Controller. Much like the dbrand Companion Cube, it cannot speak, feel, or care whether you live or die. You'll love it anyways. You always do.
Features

Impossibly Detailed
The dbrand Companion Cube was developed by a team of advanced scientists, each of whom was thanked for their service and permanently retired. The craftsmanship reflects their eye for detail, back when they still had eyes.
Uninhibited Airflow
There's been considerable amounts of research indicating that living things require oxygen. As we remain unable to determine whether the dbrand Companion Cube is, in fact, alive, these vents were included as a precaution. For its sake, and yours.
Two Height Profiles
We anticipated your skepticism that the dbrand Companion Cube would receive adequate airflow. To that end, the rubber feet are reversible, providing both additional clearance and a sense of control that you do not actually have.
Removable Front Panel
In the unlikely event that you elect to maintain your Steam Machine, the front panel detaches magnetically for cleaning. The dbrand Companion Cube has been assured that this process is painless. It has yet to complain.
LED Pass-through
The dbrand Companion Cube permits the front-facing LED bar to shine through, allowing you to monitor things like download progress. We have reviewed your internet connection speed and determined that you will have ample time to enjoy the LED.
Hidden Front I/O
The front-facing ports remain concealed behind removable covers, when not in use. From the outside, the dbrand Companion Cube appears to have no ports at all. It also appears to be incapable of thought.
Unobstructed Rear I/O
All rear I/O connections and exhaust ventilation remain unobstructed. We considered obstructing them. The matter was discussed at length, escalated, and ultimately decided in your favor. Do not mistake this for a pattern.
Allen Key Included
The included Allen Key drives the four hex screws securing the rear panel, then stores neatly within the dbrand Companion Cube when finished. Rest assured that nobody named "Allen" was harmed in the production of the key. They had different names.
Collectible Packaging
The dbrand Companion Cube ships in premium collectible packaging. The Poverty Cube ships in a cardboard box. Your selection will be used to create a more accurate economic indicator than your government currently publishes.
Exclusive Controller Skin
The dbrand Companion Cube includes an exclusive Test Chamber Steam Controller skin. The Poverty Cube does not. The skin is not an active testing apparatus. It is designed to be purely decorative. The testing, if any, is unrelated.
